The first season of The Cleveland Show aired from September 27, 2009, to May 23, 2010.[1] Production of the 22 episode season began in May 2008 and was expected to begin broadcast in January 2009 but was later pushed back to September 2009.

The Cleveland Show Season 1

The season started off with mediocre to above average reviews. On the series premiere IGN wrote "While it seems to be missing some of the over-the-top offensive bite we're used to on Family Guy, and Cleveland's new drinking buddies aren't quite as amusing as the Quagmire, Joe and Peter combination - there's a lot to like here. It might take a while for the show to grow out of its Family Guy shadow, but with a greater focus on wacky family focused stories, we might get to see much personality burst out of the normally sedate Cleveland."[23]

For the following episodes reviews were generally positive as well. Episode 2 received a 7/10,[24] although IGN mentioned "[the show] hasn't really shown any signs of innovation or desire to stray too far from the well-established Family Guy comedic formula", while the third episode, "The One About Friends", shared similar criticisms such as "This show still seems to be trying to find its way, and without a memorable supporting cast like we have on Family Guy, it will be hard to see how this show can make it with only Cleveland's sedated humor."[25]

This week on Those Good Old-Fashioned Values, Spencer (@TheLonelyPhoton), Ty (@bobo_circus), and Andy (@Ex_AnarchoAnon) take a road trip down to Stoolbend, Virginia to visit the Brown-Tubbs family in the first 10 episodes of The Cleveland Show! We talk about the demography of Virginia, the show's relative weakness compared to Family Guy, and the troubling implications of the show being made almost entirely by white guys. Episodes discussed are "Pilot," "A Brown Thanksgiving," and "Field of Streams."Support us on Patreon: www.patreon.com/tgofv . The Cleveland Show is an adult animated cartoon series that was produced by Fox and aired from September 27, 2009 to May 19, 2013. Due to Fox's broadcast standards strong language was bleeped out in the show. Hulu uses the censored Fox airings instead of the uncensored DVDs.

The Cleveland Show is an animated sitcom that first aired on September 27, 2009 on the "Animation Domination" block on Fox in the United States. The show was created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry, and Richard Appel as a spin-off show from Family Guy.

The family was conceived by MacFarlane, he took the Family Guy character, Cleveland Brown, and his son, Cleveland Brown Jr., and redesign Cleveland Brown Jr. to make him look older, and softly-spoken. Before the first episode aired it was already renewed for season 2, which had 22 episodes.[2] On June 10, 2010, three weeks after the first season ended it was renewed for another season (season 3).[3] It was also renewed for season 4. The show was canceled in May 2013, airing its final episode on May 19. There is four seasons of The Cleveland Show and 88 episodes.

According to critics, the show is an okay show, however some say it is a horrible show. The Parents Television Council said that the first season episodes was the worst show of the week. About 6 million people watched the show for season one. It was nominated for an award on the 36th People's Choice Awards, and on the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.

A new season may be added only after the completion of the previous season, and after the new season has been announced. Once you create a new season you'll have 4 hours to add the first episode, or the season may be automatically removed.

Parents need to know that The Cleveland Show -- an animated spin-off of Family Guy -- is too racy for young kids. Creator Seth MacFarlane's brand of humor is heavy on shock value -- as in sequences that seem to condone sexual harassment among elementary school students or encourage teens to ignore their parents' instructions -- and includes lots of over-the-top references to sex and drinking. The series is also rife with racially-tinged comments and other salty language (including words like "douche" and "boobs"). All of the edgy content unfortunately overwhelms the genuinely sweet message about love and family at the core of the show.

Fans of Family Guy know what to expect from creator Seth MacFarlane. Each episode of THE CLEVELAND SHOW is rude, crude, and raunchy, with quirky characters and plenty of jokes about sex and drinking that aim low and try to wring laughs from sheer shock value. As in MacFarlane's other shows, nothing is off-limits here, especially race. Cleveland is African American, and the show is riddled with quips and offhand comments that play on stereotypes and clichés. You could argue that MacFarlane deserves credit for addressing the topic at all, since so many other shows don't, but the show does little to advance any real discussion of the issue.

The show has a soft and sweet center, as Cleveland tries to pursue his dreams and find love with his old flame. But this positive message is almost completely buried in sophomoric humor, and it's hardly worth the effort to sift through the dreck to get there.

Families can talk about raunchy humor. Many of the show's jokes tread very close to the line between outrageous and offensive. Do you find shows like this funny, or do they go too far? Who decides what "too far" is?

List of the best Cleveland Show episodes, as voted on by other fans of the series. Although the show is often cited as a failed project that Seth MacFarlane crapped out without trying, there are still some great episodes to be watched. With so many memorable episodes of the show, it's hard to trust just one person's opinion of what the top Cleveland Show episodes of all time are. 041b061a72
